Breakfast Cheela, Family 21 Flour

Savoury Family 21 Cheela (Pancake)

Ingredients (4 small cheelas)

  • ½ cup Family 21 Flour

  • ¼ cup low‑fat yogurt

  • ¼–⅓ cup water (to make a pourable batter)

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion

  • 2 tbsp chopped tomato or grated carrot

  • 1–2 tbsp chopped coriander

  • Green chili/ginger and salt to taste

  • Oil or spray for the pan

Method

  1. Whisk flour, yogurt and water to a smooth, pourable batter.

  2. Add onion, tomato/carrot, coriander, chili/ginger and salt; mix well.

  3. Heat a non‑stick pan and lightly grease it.

  4. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a small pancake.

  5. Cook on medium heat until set and lightly browned on both sides, using minimal oil.
